Conclusions:

The UDI005 brushless RC boat was a lot of fun. The motivation to drive it and make it fly was new to me and very rewarding. The boat is large but manageable and like most RC boats needs to be run in still water. With a brushless motor and 3s batteries, it is extremely fast for its size, but has a battery life of 10-15 minutes. Importantly, the boat has a number of fail-safe features, especially for capsizing and dead batteries, to ensure you don't have to swim behind the boat. So far it has been very durable, even though we have wrecked it many times.

I'm happy to recommend the UDI005 RC boat, especially if you haven't touched a yacht before. As I've said several times already, the UDI005 is an excellent alternative to an RC car and is worth trying as a new and rewarding challenge.
